Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai shared new milestones for Google’s AI products on its Q2 2025 earnings call. AI Overviews in Search, which generates summaries of search results, is now used by 2 billion people each month in 200 markets — an increase of 500 million since May.

Gemini’s user base has climbed to 450 million monthly actives, with daily engagement up more than 50% from the prior quarter.

The company’s AI systems processed 980 trillion monthly tokens in July, double the amount reported two months earlier.

Pichai highlighted the figures as proof of sustained AI adoption at scale.
